எந்தாய்! என்சித்தம் நின்பாலது

460 எத்தனைகாலமும்எத்தனையூழியும் இன்றொடுநாளையென்றே *
இத்தனைகாலமும்போய்க்கிறிப்பட்டேன் இனிஉன்னைப்போகலொட்டேன் *
மைத்துனன்மார்களைவாழ்வித்து மாற்றலர்நூற்றுவரைக்கெடுத்தாய்! *
சித்தம்நின்பாலதறிதியன்றே திருமாலிருஞ்சோலையெந்தாய்!

460 ĕttaṉai kālamum ĕttaṉai ūzhiyum * iṉṟŏṭu nāl̤ai ĕṉṟe *
ittaṉai kālamum poyk kiṟippaṭṭeṉ * iṉi uṉṉaip pokalŏṭṭeṉ **
maittuṉaṉmārkal̤ai vāzhvittu * māṟṟalar nūṟṟuvaraik kĕṭuttāy! *
cittam niṉpālatu aṟiti aṉṟe * tiru māliruñ colai ĕntāy! (8)

Simple Translation

460. I have spent years, ages and eons, thinking that I could see You today or tomorrow. Now I will not leave You. You gave your brothers-in-law the Pāndavās life and destroyed the hundred Kauravās. Don’t you know that my heart is with you, O my father, god of Thirumālirunjolai?

ĕntāy! — o Lord; tirumāliruñcolai — of Thirumalirunjolai; iṉṟŏṭu — today, yesterday,; nāl̤ai ĕṉṟe — and tomorrow; ĕttaṉai kālamum — how many ages have passed; ĕttaṉai — and how many; ūḻiyum — cosmic dissolutions have passed; ittaṉai kālamum — all this time,; poy — I have been trapped and; kiṟippaṭṭeṉ — tormented; iṉi uṉṉai — hereafter, I will; pokalŏṭṭeṉ — never let you go; vāḻvittu — You protected the; maittuṉaṉmārkal̤ai — Pandavas; nūṟṟuvarai — and made their hundred; māṟṟalar — enemies; kĕṭuttāy! — perish; cittam — my heart is; niṉpālatu — completely devoted to your divine feet,; aṟiti aṉṟe — do you not know this?
