Simple Translation
438. O dear lord, dark colored creator
of the four-headed Nānmuhan
and the reason for everything,
even if I, your devotee, do not eat, I do not get hungry
because worshiping you takes my hunger away.
If there is a day when I do not think of you,
and do not always say, “Namo Nārana”
and do not recite Rig and Sama Vedās
and do not place fresh flowers on your feet,
that will be the day I starve.
