Simple Translation

421. The generous lord rides on an eagle, defeats his enemies and rules the world. As bright as the sun, he carries the sword Nāndagam, creates the Vedās and protects the world. With the goddess Lakshmi on his chest he rests sweetly on the ocean in Srirangam, his Thiruppadi.
