356 எரிசிதறும்சரத்தால் இலங்கையினை * தன்னுடைய
வரிசிலைவாயில்பெய்து வாய்க்கோட்டம்தவிர்த்துகந்த *
அரையனமரும்மலை அமரரோடுகோனும்சென்று *
திரிசுடர்சூழும்மலை திருமாலிருஞ்சோலையதே.

Simple Translation

356. Thirumāliruncholai is the mountain of Lord Rāma who destroyed Lankā with his fiery arrows, bending his bow heroically, This is a divine place where all the gods and Indra the king of gods go and worship Him and where the bright sun, moon and the stars surrounding it shine.

அமரரோடு — தேவர்களோடு; கோனும் சென்று — இந்திரனும் சென்று; திரி — எப்போதும் திரிந்துகொண்டிருக்கும்; சுடர் — சந்திரசூரியர்களும்; சூழும் மலை — வந்து வலம் வருகிற மலையானது; திருமாலிருஞ் சோலையதே — திருமாலிருஞ் சோலையதே; எரி சிதறும் — நெருப்பை சிதறும்; சரத்தால் — அம்புகளினால்; இலங்கையினை — இலங்கை அதிபதியான ராவணனை; தன்னுடைய — தன்னுடைய; வரிசிலை — நீண்டிருக்கும் சார்ங்கத்தின்; வாயில் பெய்து — வாயிலே புகச்செய்து; வாய்க் கோட்டம் — அவனுடைய வாக்கின் செருக்கை; தவிர்த்து உகந்த — குலைத்து மகிழ்ந்த; அரையன் — இராமபிரான்; அமரும் மலை — இருக்கும் மலை

tirumāliruñ colaiyate — it is Thirumalirunjolai where; koṉum cĕṉṟu — Indra goes; amararŏṭu — along with other devas to worship; tiri — amd the always revolving; cuṭar — the moon and sun surrounds; cūḻum malai — the mountain; amarum malai — it is the mountain where; araiyaṉ — resides Lord Rama who; ĕri citaṟum — with His fiery; carattāl — arrows; taṉṉuṭaiya — sent from His; varicilai — from a long bow (Sarangam); vāyil pĕytu — made them enter the mouth of; ilaṅkaiyiṉai — Ravana, the king of Lanka; tavirttu ukanta — and destroyed; vāyk koṭṭam — his arrogance
