பெருமான் என் மகளை என்ன செய்வானோ?

303 அண்டத்தமரர்பெருமான் ஆழியான்இன்றுஎன்மகளை *
பண்டப்பழிப்புக்கள்சொல்லிப் பரிசறஆண்டிடுங்கொலோ? *
கொண்டுகுடிவாழ்க்கைவாழ்ந்து கோவலப்பட்டம்கவித்து *
பண்டைமணாட்டிமார்முன்னே பாதுகாவல்வைக்குங்கொலோ?

303 aṇṭattu amarar pĕrumāṉ * āzhiyāṉ iṉṟu ĕṉmakal̤ai *

Simple Translation

303. Will the Lord of this cosmos, the One who holds a discus(chakra) accept my daughter and treat her with respect, without blaming her? Will he lead a virtuous life, making her the chief of cowherd clan and give her the rights due amidst his other consorts in the palace?

āḻiyāṉ — will Kannan who wields the discus and; aṇṭattu — who resides in Vaikuntha; amarar pĕrumāṉ — and is the Leader of the eternal celestial beings; āṇṭiṭuṅ kŏllo? — badly treat; iṉṟu ĕṉ makal̤ai — my daughter; cŏlli — by pointing out flaws; paṇṭap paḻippukkal̤ — in her beauty or character; paricu aṟa — and calling her unworthy; kŏṇṭu — instead, will He accept her; vāḻntu — live; kuṭi vāḻkkai — a good life with her; paṭṭam kavittu — crown her with the title of; kovala — the leader of the Ayar clan; pātukāval — while granting her rights as his wife; muṉṉe — alongside; paṇṭai — the already existing; maṇāṭṭimār — wives; vaikkum — and place her; kŏlo? — in His palace?
