Simple Translation

281. Listen to the wonders that I have seen on this earth! When Kannan who has beautiful large eyes and strong arms plays his flute in the middle of a crowd of young cowherds, the music is heard in the world of the gods and all the sky dwellers forget to eat their sacrificial food and enter the cowherd village of Gokulam. Their ears are filled with the sweetness of the music and they follow happily wherever Govindan goes and do not leave him at all.

புவியுள் நான் கண்டது — பூமியிலே நான் கண்ட; ஓர் அற்புதம் கேளீர்! — ஒரு ஆச்சரியத்தைக் கேளுங்கள்!; பூணி மேய்க்கும் — கன்றுகள் மேய்க்கும்; இளங்கோவலர் கூட்டத்து அவையுள் — இளம் ஆயர்கள் கூட்டத்தில்; நாகத்து அணையான் — நாகத்தின் மீது சயனத்திருப்பவன்; குழல் ஊத — புல்லாங்குழல் இசைக்க; அமரலோகத்து அளவும் — தேவலோகம் வரை; சென்று இசைப்ப — அந்த இசை பரவி ஒலிக்க; அவியுணா மறந்து — தங்கள் ஆவிர்பாக உணவை மறந்து; வானவர் எல்லாம் — தேவர்கள் எல்லோரும்; ஆயர் பாடி நிறைய — ஆயர்பாடி முழுதும் நிறையும் படியாக; புகுந்து ஈண்டி — நெருங்கிப் புகுந்து; செவி உணாவின் — தங்கள் செவியின் உள் நாக்கையும் கொண்டு; சுவை கொண்டு மகிழ்ந்து — இசைச் சுவையை ரசித்து மகிழ்ந்து; கோவிந்தனைத் தொடர்ந்து — கண்ணனைத் தொடர்ந்து; என்றும் விடாரே — பிரிய மனமில்லாமல் இருந்தனர்
