அந்திப் போதினில் விளக்கேற்றுவேன், வா

200 இருக்கொடுநீர்சங்கில்கொண்டிட்டு எழில்மறையோர்வந்துநின்றார் *
தருக்கேல்நம்பி! சந்திநின்று தாய்சொல்லுக்கொள்ளாய்சிலநாள் *
திருக்காப்புநான்உன்னைச்சாத்தத் தேசுடைவெள்ளறைநின்றாய்! *
உருக்காட்டும்அந்திவிளக்கு இன்றொளிகொள்ளஏற்றுகேன்வாராய்.

Simple Translation

200. Vedic scholars come holding conches with water and stand near you, reciting the Vedās. O dear child, don’t be proud! You must listen to your mother's words for a few days. O You reside at Thiruvellarai with a divine glow. It is evening. I will ward off the evil eyes by putting Kāppu on you. Let me light the lamp so that I can see your divine form clearly.

தேசு உடை — தேஜஸ் நிறைந்த; வெள்ளறை நின்றாய்! — வெள்ளறையில் நிற்பவனே!; தாய் சொல்லு — தாய் சொல்லுவதை; சில நாள் — இன்னும் சில நாட்களாவது; கொள்ளாய் — கேட்டருளவேண்டும்; இருக்கொடு — வேத மந்திரங்களை கூறியபடி; நீர் சங்கிற் — தீர்த்தத்தை சங்கிலே; கொண்டிட்டு — எடுத்து; உன்னைச் சாத்த — உனக்கு காப்பிட; எழில் மறையோர் — பொலிவு மிக்க வேத புருஷர்கள்; வந்து நின்றார் — வந்து நிற்கிறார்கள்; தருக்கேல் நம்பி! — செருக்கடையாதே நாயகனே!; சந்தி நின்று — சந்தியில் நின்று கொண்டு; உருக் காட்டும் — உன் திரு உருவத்தைக் காட்டும்; அந்தி விளக்கு இன்று — திருவந்திக் காப்பை இப்போது; ஒளி கொள்ள — வெளிச்சம் பாய; ஏற்றுகேன் வாராய் — ஏற்றுகிறேன் நீ வாராய்!

vĕl̤l̤aṟai niṉṟāy! — You reside at Thiruvellarai; tecu uṭai — with a divine glow; tāy cŏllu — what Your mother says; kŏl̤l̤āy — You should listen to it; cila nāl̤ — atleast for a few more days; ĕḻil maṟaiyor — vedic scholars; irukkŏṭu — are reciting vedic chants; kŏṇṭiṭṭu — and they brought; nīr caṅkiṟ — conches with water; uṉṉaic cātta — to offer it to You; vantu niṉṟār — they standing close to You; tarukkel nampi! — O dear child, don’t be proud!; canti niṉṟu — standing at the junction; eṟṟukeṉ vārāy — You come, I will light; anti vil̤akku iṉṟu — a lamp; uruk kāṭṭum — so that I can see Your divine form; ŏl̤i kŏl̤l̤a — to brighten this place
