192 ## intiraṉoṭu piramaṉ * īcaṉ imaiyavar ĕllām *
mantira mā malar kŏṇṭu * maṟaintu uvarāy vantu niṉṟār **
cantiraṉ māl̤ikai cerum * caturarkal̤ vĕl̤l̤aṟai niṉṟāy *
antiyam potu itu ākum * azhakaṉe kāppiṭa vārāy (1)
Simple Translation
192. Indra, Brahmā, Shivā and all other gods brought
beautiful divine flowers, stood at a distance and
looked at you happily.
You abide in Vellarai where the moon shines above the palaces
and the dancers sing your praise while they dance.
Come, beautiful child, it is evening and I will put a kāppu on you
to protect you from evil eyes.
