வடபத்ரசாயிக்குக் கருமுகைப் பூ

190 அண்டத்தமரர்கள்சூழ அத்தாணியுள்ளங்கிருந்தாய் *
தொண்டர்கள்நெஞ்சிலுறைவாய். தூமலராள் மணவாளா! *
உண்டிட்டுஉலகினையேழும் ஓராலிலையில்துயில்கொண்டாய்! *
கண்டுநான்உன்னையுகக்கக் கருமுகைப்பூச்சூட்டவாராய்.

190 aṇṭattu amararkal̤ cūzha * attāṇiyul̤ aṅku iruntāy *
tŏṇṭarkal̤ nĕñcil uṟaivāy * tūmalarāl̤ maṇavāl̤ā **

Simple Translation

190. Although in heaven you stay in the assembly of gods, you live in the hearts of your devotees on the earth. You, the beloved of Lakshmi, swallowed all the seven worlds and rest on the banyan leaf. Come and I will decorate your hair with jaminum sambac flowers blooming with big buds, and I will see you and be happy.
