சிரீதரன் மழலைச் சொல்

58 அழகியவாயில் அமுதவூறல்தெளிவுறா *
மழலைமுற்றாதஇளஞ்சொல்லால் உன்னைக்கூவுகின்றான் *
குழகன்சிரீதரன் கூவக்கூவநீபோதியேல் *
புழையிலவாகாதே நின்செவிபுகர்மாமதீ!

Simple Translation

58. From his beautiful mouth, with nectar dripping, he calls you aloud with his prattle. You keep moving when God Sridharan is calling you again and again. If you do not stop it means that your ears are shut and have no bore to listen. Tell me Oh! wonderful shining moon.

அழகிய வாயில் — அழகிய திருப்பவளவாயில்; ஊறல் — ஊறுகின்ற ஜலமாகிற; அமுத — அம்ருதத்தோடு கூடிய; தெளிவுறா — தெளிவற்ற; இளஞ்சொல்லால் — மழலைப்பேச்சால்; உன்னைக் கூகின்றான் — உன்னை அழைக்கின்றான்; குழகன் — அழகன்; சிரீதரன் — ஸ்ரீயை மார்பில் வைத்திருப்பவன்; கூவக் கூவ — உன்னைப் பல முறை கூப்பிட்டும்; நீ போதியேல் — நீ போகாமலிருந்தால்; நின் செவி — உன் காதுகளில்; புழையில ஆகாதே — துளை இல்லையோ என்றாகிவிடும்; புகர் மா மதீ! — ஒளிமிக்க பெரிய சந்திரனே!

amuta — with nectar; ūṟal — dripping; aḻakiya vāyil — from His divine mouth; il̤añcŏllāl — by His tender speech; tĕl̤ivuṟā — that is unclear; uṉṉaik kūkiṉṟāṉ — Kannan calls for you; kuḻakaṉ — the handsome One; cirītaraṉ — One who has Lakshmi on His chest; kūvak kūva — even though He calls you many times; nī potiyel — if you do not go; puḻaiyila ākāte — it seem there are no holes; niṉ cĕvi — in your ears; pukar mā matī! — o radiant, great moon!
