53. Yashodā sang lullaby for the kohl-colored Kannan, who drank milk from the cunning Poothana's breasts when she came to kill Him. The Pattan of Puduvai (Periyazhwar) has composed songs she sang. Those who recite these hymns fully, will be free of all difficulties.
