Simple Translation

53. Yashodā sang lullaby for the kohl-colored Kannan, who drank milk from the cunning Poothana's breasts when she came to kill Him. The Pattan of Puduvai (Periyazhwar) has composed songs she sang. Those who recite these hymns fully, will be free of all difficulties.

In this final, concluding pāśuram, the venerable Āzhvār compassionately reveals the glorious benefits, or phalaśruti, that will undoubtedly accrue to all those who reverentially learn and recite this sacred chapter, thereby bringing his divine composition to a blissful and auspicious end.
