We Saw the Playful Kaṇṇaṉ

விளையாடும் கண்ணனைக் கண்டோம்

644 வெளியசங்கொன்றுடையானைப் பீதகவாடையுடையானை *
அளிநன்குடையதிருமாலை ஆழியானைக்கண்டீரே? *
களிவண்டெங்கும்கலந்தாற்போல் கமழ்பூங்குழல்கள்தடந்தோள்மேல் *
மிளிரநின்றுவிளையாட விருந்தாவனத்தேகண்டோமே.

Simple Translation

644. “Did you see generous Thirumāl carrying a white conch and a discus and adorned with golden clothes?” “We saw him as his lovely fragrant hair fell on his large arms, like bees that swarm with glee, while he played in Brindavan (Mathura). ”
