காயாமலரும்கமலப்பூவும் *
ஈர்த்திடுகின்றனவென்னைவந்திட்டு
இருடீகேசன்பக்கல்போகேயென்று *
வேர்த்துப்பசித்துவயிறசைந்து
வேண்டடிசிலுண்ணும்போது * ஈதென்று
பார்த்திருந்துநெடுநோக்குக்கொள்ளும்
பத்தவிலோசநத்துய்த்திடுமின்.

Simple Translation

622. “The cool rainy clouds, the karuvilai flowers, the kāyām blossoms and the lotus flowers all attract me and tell me to go to Rishikeshan’s place. He sweats, feels hungry and weak and wants food. He is looking for the wives of the rishis to bring him something to eat. Take me to the place( Baktha vilochanam)where he waits for food and leave me there. ”
