Emperumān, in His infinite compassion, has graciously chosen to reside in Śrīraṅgam, a place adorned with splendid mansions that boast ornately decorated upper storeys and encircling compound walls. Periyaperumāḷ, ever resplendent with freshness, previously incarnated as Vāmana. When He accepted alms from Mahābali, had there been any shortcoming in that offering, compelling a need to fulfill which He might covet my bangles, would He not have mercifully walked down this very street?
