O dark Kāṇḍal flowers, akin to lilies in your splendor! Where might one find that divine Emperumān Kṛṣṇa, whose form resembles the profound black ocean? It was He who adorned you so fittingly, only to dispatch you to besiege my heart in a spiritual war. Truly, I am at a loss, uncertain of whom to beseech for solace. My soul longed for the exquisite Tulasī garland, yet here I am, left with a heart that relentlessly pursues it. Alas, such is my plight!
