ஏய்ந்தபணக்கதிர்மேல்வெவ்வுயிர்ப்ப * - வாய்ந்த
மதுகைடவரும் வயிறுருகிமாண்டார் *
அதுகேடவர்க்கிறுதியாங்கு.

Simple Translation

2347. The Asurans Madhu and Kaidava were destroyed when Adisesha with jewels on his head merely breathed on them. If anyone becomes the enemy of the god and their end will be like that of Madhu and Kaibadava.

காய்ந்து — சீறி; இருளை மாற்றி — இருளைப் போக்கி; கதிர் இலகு — ஒளிவிடும்; மா — சிறந்த; மணிகள் — ரத்தினங்கள் இருக்கும்; ஏய்ந்த — ஆதிசேஷனின்; பண — படங்களுடைய; கதிர் மேல் — ஒளிக்குமேல் எம்பெருமான் அருகில்; வாய்ந்த — வந்த; மதுகைடபரும் — மது-கைடபர்கள் வந்ததும்; வெவ்வுயிர்ப்ப — எம்பெருமான் பெரு மூச்சு விட; வயிறு உருகி — வயிறு உருகி; மாண்டார் — மாண்டனர்; ஆங்கு — அங்கு; அவர்க்கு — அவர்களுக்கு அப்படி; அது — ஆதுவே; இறுதி கேடு — முடிவும் அழிவும் ஏற்பட்டது
