2347 காய்ந்திருளைமாற்றிக் கதிரிலகுமாமணிகள் *
ஏய்ந்தபணக்கதிர்மேல்வெவ்வுயிர்ப்ப * - வாய்ந்த
மதுகைடவரும் வயிறுருகிமாண்டார் *
அதுகேடவர்க்கிறுதியாங்கு.

Simple Translation

2347. The Asurans Madhu and Kaidava were destroyed when Adisesha with jewels on his head merely breathed on them. If anyone becomes the enemy of the god and their end will be like that of Madhu and Kaibadava.

kāyndhu — with a fury; irul̤ai māṝi — removing darkness; kadhir ilagu — being very radiant; mā maṇigal — great gems; ĕyndha — fitting well; paṇam — the (spread) hoods [of thiruvananthāzhwān, ādhiṣĕshan); kadhir mĕl — over the radiance; vevvuyirppa — as he sighed heavily; vāyndha — those who came there; madhukaidabarum — demons madhu and kaidaba; vayiṛu urugi māṇdār — got killed by having their bowels rotting; avarkku — for those demons; āngu — in that place; adhu kĕdu iṛudhi — reaching there itself became cause for their lowliness and destruction
