யாவரும் வேங்கடவனையே வணங்குவர்

2226 உளதென்றிறுமாவார் உண்டில்லையென்று *
தளர்தலதனருகும்சாரார் * - அளவரிய
வேதத்தான்வேங்கடத்தான் விண்ணோர்முடிதோயும் *
பாதத்தான் பாதம்பயின்று.

Simple Translation

2226. The lord of Thiruvenkatam worshiped by the gods in the sky is himself the Vedās whose meanings are endless. If devotees worship his feet they will have no pride whether they are rich or poor.

அளவு அரிய — அளவிட முடியாதபடி; வேதத்தான் — வேதங்களினால் சொல்லப்படுபவனும்; வேங்கடத்தான் — திருமலையில் நிற்பவனும்; விண்ணோர் — நித்யஸூரிகள்; முடி தோயும் — முடிகளால் வணங்கப் பெற்ற; பாதத்தான் — திருவடிகளையுடைய; பாதம் பயின்று — திருவடிகளிலே ஈடுபட்டிருப்பவர்கள்; உளது — தமக்குச் செல்வமுள்ளது என்று; இறுமாவார் — செருக்குக் கொள்ள மாட்டார்கள்; உண்டு — செல்வம் நேற்று இருந்து; இல்லை என்று — இன்று அழிந்த போயிற்றென்று; தளர்தல் அதன் — தளர்ச்சியும்; அருகும் சாரார் — அடையமாட்டார்கள்

al̤avu ariya vĕdhaththān — one who is mentioned by the boundless vĕdhas; vĕngadaththān — one who is dwelling in thiruvĕngadam [thirumalai hills]; viṇṇŏr mudi thŏyum pādhaththān — emperumān whose divine feet are worshipped by (the crowns of) nithyasūris; pādham — in his divine feet; payinṛu — those who are familiar with; ul̤adhu enṛu iṛumāvār — will not feel proud that they have (wealth); uṇdu illai enṛu — (wealth was) there yesterday and got destroyed today, saying so; thal̤ardhal adhan arugum sārār — they will not go anywhere near the characteristic of being slack
