934. He (Arangan), the ancient god of the gods in the sky, came as a man-lion and split open the body of Hiranyan. The large, red-lined divine eyes on his dark face, shining and touching his ears, make me crazy.

Emperumān, in His majestic form, tore asunder the demon Hiraṇyakaśipu, whose immense stature towered ominously. Such is the inaccessibility of the Lord, that even celestial deities like Brahmā find Him beyond their reach. He stands as the causative entity of all that exists, dispensing benevolence universally, and eternally reclining at Śrīraṅgam.
