விரிகின்றவண்ணத்த எம்பெருமான்கண்கள் * மீண்டவற்றுள்
எரிகொள்செந்தீவீழசுரரைப்போலஎம்போலியர்க்கும்
விரிவசொல்லீரிதுவோ? * வையமுற்றும்விளரியதே.
2559 ĕri kŏl̤ cĕn nāyiṟu * iraṇṭu uṭaṉe utaya malaivāy *

Simple Translation

2559. She says, “His eyes shine like two burning suns rising from the tops of the hills and they destroy and burn the Asurans. Tell me, how is it that they burn us? He protects the whole world— he should not be hurting us like this. Tell us, is this what he does to all the world?”

எரி கொள் — நெருப்புப் போன்ற; செந் நாயிறு — சிவந்த கிரணங்களையுடைய; இரண்டு உடனே — இரண்டு சூரியர்கள் ஒரேசமயத்தில்; உதய மலைவாய் — உதய மலையில்; விரிகின்ற — தோன்றி விளங்கும்; வண்ணத்த — தன்மையையுடைய; எம்பெருமான் கண்கள் — எம்பெருமானின் கண்கள்; அவற்றுள் எரிகொள் — அந்த சூரிய வடிவிலே ஒளிமயமாக; செந் தீ தோன்றும் — தோன்றும் சிவந்த நெருப்பிலே; மீண்டு வீழ் — மீண்டும் மீண்டும் விழுந்து; அசுரரைப் போல — மடியும் அசுரர்களைப் போல்; எம் போலியர்க்கும் — எம்போன்றவர்களையும்; விரிவ — சுடுகின்றதே; வையம் முற்றும் — உலகம் முழுவதையும்; விளரியதே — விரும்பிக் காப்பாற்றும் விதம்; இதுவோ? — இது தானா?; சொல்லீர் — சொல்லுங்கள்
