Simple Translation

2535. Her friend says, “When he took the boon from Mahābali, one foot covered the whole world and the other foot had to go to sky since there is no space left on the earth. He is the highest lord of the world and the sky and he is the light of knowledge. There is nothing left anywhere for the lotus-eyed Kannan to measure. ”

ஒன்றே கழல் தலம் — ஒரு திருவடியே; நிலம் முழுது ஆயிற்று — பூமி முழுதும் வியாபித்தது; ஒரு கழல் போய் — மற்றொரு திருவடி வளர்ந்து; நிழல் தர — நிழல் கொடுக்க; எல்லா விசும்பும் — ஆகாசம் முழுதும்; நிறைந்தது — வியாபித்து; நீண்ட அண்டத்து — விசாலமான அண்டத்தில்; உழறு — சுற்றி ஸஞ்சரிப்பதாய்; அலர் — மலர்ந்த; ஞானச் சுடர் — ஞானமாகிற ஒளியையுடைய; விளக்காய் — தீபம் போல் ஸ்வயம் பிரகாசமாய்; உயர்ந்தோரை — உயர்ந்தவர் இல்லாதவனாய்; அழறு அலர் — சேற்றில் விகசிக்கும்; தாமரை — தாமரை போன்ற; கண்ணன் — கண்களையுடைய பெருமான்; இங்கு அளக்கின்றதே — இவ்விடத்தில் அளப்பது; என்னோ? — எதையோ?
