Sing These Verses: One Can Attain the Holy Feet of Kaṇṇaṉ.

இவற்றைப் பாடுக: கண்ணன் திருவடி சேரலாம்

3012 பொருளின்றிவ்வுலகம் படைத்தவன்புகழ்மேல் *
மருளில்வண்குருகூர் வண்சடகோபன் *
தெருள்கொள்ளச்சொன்ன ஓராயிரத்துள்இப்பத்து *

Simple Translation

3012. These ten songs, selected from the thousand imparted by the mighty Caṭakōpaṉ of Kurukūr, provide us with clear and concise knowledge about the Lord who possesses many auspicious traits and created the worlds. They will end the cycle of Saṃsāra and bring us to His merciful feet.

Explanatory Notes

(i) As already explained in II-9-11, what is meant here again is that the Lord will be immensely pleased with those who learn these ten songs and confer on them the benefits referred to here.

(ii) The Lord endowed us with limbs and sense-organs so as to capacitate us into a career of gainful activity. This is what is meant by creation and He goes on with it, undaunted by adverse results, always hoping for better luck, an indefatigable Cultivator, with robust optimism.
