Although specific mention has been made here of the Lord’s incarnation as Kṛṣṇa, there is also a broad reference to all His Avatāras as well, wherein He mixes with the worldlings with remarkable transparence, even as He does with the denizens in SriVaikuntam.
In this second pāsuram, the Āzhvār mercifully elucidates the profound and intimate manner in which emperumān bonds with His devoted servants within this material realm (saṃsāram). The great ācāryas explain that the Āzhvār celebrates the sublime nature of Bhagavān’s avatārams—His divine descents from the eternal spiritual realm (nitya vibhūti) into this world
