பாண்டவர்க்கு உதவிய தெய்வம்

840 பார்மிகுத்தபாரம் முன்ஒழிச்சுவான், அருச்சுனன் *
தேர்மிகுத்துமாயமாக்கி நின்றுகொன்று, வென்றிசேர் *
மாரதர்க்குவான்கொடுத்து வையமைவர்பாலதாம் *
சீர்மிகுத்தநின்னலால் ஒர்தெய்வம்நான்மதிப்பனே?

840 pār mikutta pāram muṉ * ŏzhiccuvāṉ aruccuṉaṉ *
ter mikuttu māyam ākki * niṉṟu kŏṉṟu vĕṉṟicer **
māratarkku vāṉ kŏṭuttu * vaiyam aivar pālatām *

Simple Translation

840. You became the charioteer for Arjunā, destroyed the Kauravās and gave the land to the five Pāndavās, sending their enemies to the sky and saving the earth from evil ones. O victorious one, I will not worship any other except you. .
