Simple Translation
821. The gods in the sky,
carrying clubs, tridents, spears, drums, sticks and swords,
ran everywhere and hid
when Bānasuran came to fight with them.
On that day our Thirumāl fought with him
and cut off his thousand arms,
and took away all the troubles of the gods.
