உன் தன்மையை யாராலும் சொல்ல முடியாது

780 பரத்திலும்பரத்தையாதி பௌவநீரணைக்கிடந்து *
உரத்திலும்மொருத்திதன்னை வைத்துகந்து அதன்றியும் *
நரத்திலும்பிறத்திநாத ஞானமூர்த்தியாயினாய்! *
ஒருத்தரும்நினாதுதன்மை இன்னதென்னவல்லரே.

780 parattilum parattai āti * pauva nīr aṇaik kiṭantu *
urattilum ŏrutti taṉṉai * vaittu ukantu atu aṉṟiyum **

Simple Translation

780. You who are the highest god of the gods and the form of wisdom rest on the milky ocean, keeping Lakshmi on your chest and embracing her. You came to this earth in human forms. No one can say what your nature is.

பரத்திலும் — பிரக்ருதிக்கும் மேற்பட்ட; பரத்தை ஆதி! — ஸ்வரூபமுடையவனாய்; உரத்திலும் — மார்பிலே; ஒருத்தி தன்னை — ஒப்பற்ற மஹாலக்ஷ்மியை; வைத்து உகந்து — வைத்து மகிழ்ந்து; பெளவ நீர் — கடல் நீராகிற; அணைக் கிடந்து — படுக்கையில் துயின்று; அது அன்றியும் — இப்படிச் செய்வதுமல்லாமல்; நரத்திலும் — இகழத்தக்க மானிட சாதியிலும்; பிறத்தி — வந்து பிறக்கிறாய்; நாத! — நாதனே!; ஞானமூர்த்தி ஆயினாய்! — ஞானமூர்த்தியானவனே!; ஒருத்தரும் — வேதங்களோ வைதிகர்களோ; நினாது தன்மை — உன்னுடைய அநுக்ரஹ ஸ்வபாவத்தை; இன்னது என்ன வல்லரே — இப்படிப்பட்டதென்று அறிவரோ!
