ஈர் ஐந்து — பத்து; சீர் ஆர் சிரம் — பெரிய தலைகளையும்; அறுத்து செற்று — அறுத்து அழித்து; உகந்த — உகந்தான்; செங்கண் — சிவந்த கண்களையுடைய; மால் — பெருமான்; போர் ஆர் நெடு — யுத்ததிலே நீண்ட; வேலோன் — வேலாயுதத்தை உடைய; பொன் பெயரோன் ஆகத்தை — இரணியனின் உடலை; கூர் ஆர்ந்த வள் — கூர்மையான வளைந்த; உகிரால் கீண்டு — நகங்களால் பிளந்து
