பாவியேன் — பாவியுமான; என்னை — என்னை; இது விளைத்த — இப்பாடுபடுத்தும்; ஈர் இரண்டு — நான்கு; மால் வரைத்தோள் — தோள்களையுடைய; மன்னவன் தன் — கண்ணனின் அன்புக்கு உரிய; காதலனை — பௌத்திரனான அநிருத்தனை; மாயத்தால் — யோக மாயத்தால்; கொண்டு போய் — எடுத்துக் கொண்டுவந்து; கன்னி தன்பால் வைக்க — தன்னிடத்தில் சேர்க்கப்பெற்று; மற்றவனோடு — அந்த அநிருத்தனோடே; எத்தனையோர் மன்னிய — பலவிதமாய்; பேர் இன்பம் எய்தினாள் — ஒப்பற்ற இன்பம் அநுபவித்தாள்
