பொன்னவிலுமாகம் புணர்ந்திலளே? *

2743. They searched and finally found him who was strong as a bull, with mighty arms like stone and she embraced his golden chest. (32)

வாள் அமருள் — பெரிய போர்க்களத்திலே; கல் நவில் — மலைபோல் திண்ணிய; தோள் — தோள்களையுடையவனும்; காளையை — காளை போன்றவனுமான தனது காதலனின்; கைப் பிடித்து — கைகளைப்பற்றி மணம் முடித்து; மீண்டும் போய் — தன் ஊருக்குக் கூட்டிச்சென்று; பொன் நவிலும் — அக்காதலனுடைய பொன் போன்ற; ஆகம் — மார்பிலே; புணர்ந்திலளே? — அணையப்பெற்றாளில்லையோ?

thān senṛu — leaving, forcefully; vāl̤ amarum — in a big battlefield; kal navil thŏl̤ kāl̤aiyai — her beloved, who is having mountain-like huge shoulder and who is proud like a bull; kaippidihthu — marrying him; mīṇdum pŏy — reaching her dwelling place; pon navilum āgam — in the chest (of her beloved) which is like gold; puṇarndhilal̤ĕ — did she not get embraced?
