2740 மின்னுருவில் விண்தேர் திரிந்துவெளிப்பட்டு *
கல்நிறைந்துதீய்ந்து கழையுடைந்து கால்சுழன்று *
பின்னுந்திரைவயிற்றுப் பேயேதிரிந்துலவா *
கொன்னவிலும் வெங்கானத்தூடு * -

Simple Translation

2740. He went fast as lightning in a bright chariot, wandered in a hot forest where murderous hungry ghosts wandered. The paths there were filled with stones and bamboo plants were broken and burned, and the wind blew wildly (29)
