2730 இன்னவுருவின் இமையாத்தடங்கண்ணார் *
அன்னவர்தம்மானோக்கமுண்டு ஆங்கணிமுறுவல் *
இன்னமுதம் மாந்தியிருப்பர் * - இதுவன்றே

2730 iṉṉa uruviṉ imaiyāt taṭaṅ kaṇṇār *
aṉṉavar tam māṉ nokkam uṇṭu āṅku aṇi muṟuval *

2730. They drink the nectar from the mouths of the women with large eyes that never blink, enjoying their doe-like look and lovely smiles. (19)

இன்ன உருவின் — இப்படிப்பட்ட வடிவு படைத்த; தடங் கண்ணார் — நீண்ட கண்களையுடைய; இமையாத்து — தேவலோகத்து; அன்னவர் தம் — மாதர்களின்; மான் நோக்கம் — மானைப்போன்ற நோக்கினை; உண்டு — அநுபவித்து; ஆங்கு — அதோடு; அணி முறுவல் — அழகிய புன்சிரிப்பாகிய; இன் அமுதம் — இனிய அம்ருதத்தையும்; மாந்தி இருப்பர் — புசித்திருப்பர்கள்; அன்ன அறத்தின் — அப்படிப்பட்ட தர்மத்தின் அறத்தின்; பயன் ஆவது — பலனாகப் பெறும் பேறு; இது அன்றே — இதுவேயாம்

agam kuzhanidhu — with the heart softening; inna uruvin imaiyā thadam kaṇṇār — having such great, expansive eyes; annavar tham — such celestial damsels’; mān nŏkkam uṇdu — enjoying the look of a doe’s eyes; āngu — along with that; aṇi muṛuval innamudham māndhi iruppar — they would have consumed the nectar of beautiful smile.; anna aṛaththin payan āvadhu idhu anṛĕ — this is the benefit that one gets for that purushārtham dharmam (which ī had spoken of, earlier)
