மனமே! திருமாலையே சிந்தித்திரு

2593 நுமக்கடியோமென்றென்று நொந்துதுரைத்தென்? * மாலார்
தமக்கு அவர்த்தாம்சார்வரியரானால் * - எமக்கினி
யாதானும் ஆகிடுகாண்நெஞ்சே! * அவர்திறத்தே
யாதானும்சிந்தித்திரு.

Simple Translation

2593. We said to him again and again, “We, your slaves, are suffering, ” but we still can’t approach him. O heart, let whatever will happen happen. Just live, thinking only of him.

நெஞ்சே! — மனமே!; மாலார் அவர் தாம் — திருமாலான பெருமானை; சார்வு அரியர் — நாம் அடையமுடியாதவர்களாக; ஆனால் — இருந்தாலும்; நொந்து — அவர் மனம் நோகும்படி; உரைத்து — உரைத்து என்ன பயன்?; இனி எமக்கு — இன்று முதலாக நமக்கு; யாதானும் — எது வேண்டுமானாலும்; ஆகிடு காண் — நேரட்டும்; மாலார் தமக்கு — அந்த எம்பெருமானை நோக்கி; நுமக்கு — உமக்கு; அடியோம் — நாங்கள் அடிமைப்பட்டவர்கள்; என்று என்று என் — என்று பல தடவை சொல்லி; அவர் திறத்தே — அவனைக் குறித்தே நினைத்தே; யாதானும் — எதையாவது; சிந்தித்து இரு — சிந்தித்து இருப்போம்

nenjĕ — ŏh mind!; avar thām — he, the supreme entity; sārvu ariyar ānāl — if he is not attainable; “numakku adiyŏm — are we not servitors to you, the lord?”; enṛu enṛu — saying this many times; nondhu — feeling anguished; mālār thamakku — for such a great entity; uraiththu en — what is the purpose in saying?; emakku — for us (who are his possession); ini — from now onwards; yādhānum āgidu kāṇ — let whatever happen; avar thiṛaththĕ — towards him; yādhānum — something or the other; sindhiththu iru — keep meditating on
