அமரர்க்கும் அமரராவர்

1337 ஏரார்பொழில்சூழ் இந்தளூரில்எந்தைபெருமானை *
காரார்புறவில்மங்கைவேந்தன் கலியனொலிசெய்த *
சீராரின்சொல்மாலை கற்றுத்திரிவார்உலகத்தில் *
ஆராரவரே அமரர்க்குஎன்றும் அமரராவாரே. (2)

Simple Translation

1337. Kaliyan, the chief of Thirumangai composed a sweet garland of ten pāsurams praising our father, the god of Indalur surrounded by lovely groves. If devotees, whoever they are, learn and recite these ten pāsurams they will become the god of the gods in the sky.

ஏர் ஆர் — அழகிய; பொழில் சூழ் — சோலைகளாலே சூழப்பட்ட; இந்தளூரில் — இந்தளூர்; எந்தை பெருமானை — எம்பெருமானைக் குறித்து; கார் ஆர் — மேகங்கள் படிந்த; புறவின் — தோப்புகளையுடைய; மங்கை வேந்தன் — திருமங்கைத் தலைவரான; கலியன் — திருமங்கை ஆழ்வார்; ஒலிசெய்த — அருளிச்செய்த; சீரார் இன் — சிறந்த மதுரமான; சொல் மாலை — இச்சொல் மாலையை; கற்றுத் திரிவார் — கற்றுத் திரிபவர்; உலகத்தில் — உலகத்தில்; ஆர் ஆர் அவரே — எவரெவருண்டோ அவர்களே; அமரர்க்கு — நித்யஸூரிகளால்; என்றும் — எக்காலத்திலும்; அமரர் ஆவாரே — கொண்டாடப்படுவர்
ĕr ār — very beautiful; pozhil — by gardens; sūzh — surrounded; indhal̤ūril — mercifully present in thiruvindhal̤ūr; endhai — my lord; perumānai — on sarvĕṣvaran; kār ār — filled with clouds; puṛavil — having surroundings; mangai — for thirumangai region; vĕndhan — king; kaliyan — āzhvār; oli seydha — mercifully spoke; sīr ār — filled with bhagavān-s qualities; in sol — having sweet words; mālai — these ten pāsurams which are a garland of words; kaṝu — learnt; thirivār — those who fearlessly roam around; ulagaththu — in this world; ār ār — those people (irrespective of their birth, conduct etc); avarĕ — they; amararkku — for nithyasūris; enṛum — at all times; amarar āvār — will remain praiseworthy.
