1267 மண்ணுளார்புகழ்வேதியர்நாங்கூர் வண்புருடோத்தமத்துள் *
அண்ணல்சேவடிக்கீழடைந்துஉய்ந்தவன் ஆலிமன் அருள்மாரி *
பண்ணுளார்தரப்பாடியபாடல் இப்பத்தும்வல்லார் * உலகில்
எண்ணிலாதபேரின்பமுற்றுஇமையவரோடும்கூடுவரே. (2)

Simple Translation

1267. Kaliyan the poet worshiped the feet of the god of Vanpurushothamam in Nāngur where famous Vediyars live, skilled in the Vedās. If devotees learn and recite these ten pāsurams, they will receive countless joys in the world and go to the spiritual world and stay with the gods.

maṇṇul̤ — īn earth; ār — abundant; pugazh — having fame; vĕdhiyar — where ṣrīvaishṇavas, who are naturally engaged in vĕdha adhyayanam, are residing; nāngūr — in thirunāngūr; vaṇ purudŏththamaththul̤ — mercifully present in dhivyadhĕṣam named vaṇ purudŏththamam; aṇṇal — sarvĕṣvaran, who is lord; sĕ — beautiful; adik kīzh — under the divine feet; adaindhu — reached; uyndhavan — who became redeemed; āli — for the residents of thiurvāli; man — being the king; arul̤ māri — thirumangai āzhvār who is a cloud, raining mercy; paṇṇul̤ — in tune; ār thara — being complete; pādiya — sang; pādal — being pāsurams; ip paththum — these ten pāsurams; vallār — those who have learnt; ulagil — in this world; eṇ ilādha — countless; pĕr inbam — great joy; uṝu — attain (and subsequently); imaiyavarŏdum — with nithyasūris; kūduvar — will unite.
