அலைகடல் போன்றவரை நான் கண்டேன்

1122 கலைகளும்வேதமும்நீதிநூலும்
கற்பமும்சொற்பொருள்தானும் * மற்றை
நிலைகளும் வானவர்க்கும் பிறர்க்கும்
நீர்மையினால்அருள்செய்து * நீண்ட
மலைகளும்மாமணியும் மலர்மேல்
மங்கையும்சங்கமும் தங்குகின்ற *
அலைகடல்போன்றுஇவரார்கொல்? என்ன
அட்டபுயகரத்தேனென்றாரே.

Simple Translation

1122. He is the master of Vedas, Upanishads, Itihasas, Puranas, the Kalpa Sutras, the vyakaranam and the Mimamsa texts. He holds the abodes meant for those who follow these truths. By His grace, He bestows blessings on the Devas and all living beings on earth. His broad shoulders rise like mighty Meru mountains, adorned with the radiant Kaustubha gem. beside the lotus-born goddess Mahalakshmi, He holds the conch Panchajanya, ever present and shining, like the ocean waves in endless motion. When asked, “Who is He?” He said, “I am Attabhuyakarathan — I have come for you.”
