கண்ணனே! அடியேனுக்கு அருள்வாய்

2030 நந்தாநரகத் தழுந்தாவகை * நாளும்
எந்தாய்! தொண்டரானவர்க்கு இன்னருள்செய்வாய்! *
சந்தோகா! தலைவனே! தாமரைக்கண்ணா! *
அந்தோ! அடியேற்கு அருளாய்உன்னருளே. (2)

2030 ## nantā narakattu azhuntāvakai * nāl̤um-
ĕntāy tŏṇṭar āṉavarkku * iṉ arul̤ cĕyvāy **
cantokā talaivaṉe * tāmaraik kaṇṇā!- *

Simple Translation

2030. O my father, show me a path so I will not be plunged into indestructible hell. Give us, your devotees, your sweet grace always. You are the Chandogya Upanishad, our chief with lotus eyes. O dear one, give your grace to me, your slave.
