அடியேன் நின்னையே வேண்டி நிற்பன்

696 நின்னையேதான்வேண்டி நீள்செல்வம்வேண்டாதான்
தன்னையே * தான்வேண்டும் செல்வம்போல் மாயத்தால் *
மின்னையேசேர்திகிரி விற்றுவக்கோட்டம்மா! *
நின்னையேதான்வேண்டி நிற்பனடியேனே.

696 niṉṉaiye tāṉ veṇṭi * nīl̤ cĕlvam veṇṭātāṉ *

Simple Translation

696. O lord of Vithuvakkodu, with a glowing discus (chakra) bright as lightning in your hand! Wealth seeks the one who doesn't desire riches but seeks only You. I am like the riches a true seeker ignores. Even if You ignore me, I will come to You. You are my refuge.

Like the wealth that desires him who does not desire vast wealth, desiring [but] You [instead], due to [Your] maya, O Lord of Viṟṟuvakkōṭu with a discus resembling lightning itself, I, who am [Your] servant, shall remain desiring only You.
