உன்னை இனிப் போகவிடமாட்டேன்

461 அன்றுவயிற்றில்கிடந்திருந்தே அடிமைசெய்யலுற்றிருப்பன் *
இன்றுவந்துஇங்குஉன்னைக்கண்டுகொண்டேன் இனிப்போகவிடுவதுண்டே? *
சென்றங்குவாணனைஆயிரந்தோளும் திருச்சக்கரமதனால் *
தென்றித்திசைதிசைவீழச்செற்றாய்! திருமாலிருஞ்சோலையெந்தாய்!

461 aṉṟu vayiṟṟil kiṭantirunte * aṭi mai cĕyyal uṟṟiruppaṉ *
iṉṟu vantu iṅku uṉṉaik kaṇṭukŏṇṭeṉ * iṉip poka viṭuvatuṇṭe? **
cĕṉṟu aṅku vāṇaṉai āyiram tol̤um * tiruc cakkaram ataṉāl *
tĕṉṟit ticai ticai vīzhac cĕṟṟāy! * tiru māliruñ colai ĕntāy! (9)

Simple Translation

461. Even when I was in my mother’s womb I was determined to serve You. I was born in this world and today I came here and found you— how could I leave you who fought with Bānasuran and cut off his thousand arms, with your discus (chakra) scattering them in all the directions, O my father, lord of Thirumālirunjolai.

சென்று அங்கு — அங்கு சென்று; வாணனை — பாணாசுரனை; ஆயிரம் தோளும் — ஆயிரம் தோள்களும்; திருச்சக்கரம் அதனால் — சக்கராயுதத்தினால்; திசை திசை — திக்குகள்தோறும்; தென்றி — சிதறி விழும்படி; வீழச் செற்றாய்! — வீழ்த்தினாய்; திருமாலிருஞ்சோலை — திருமாலிருஞ்சோலை; எந்தாய்! — பிரானே!; அன்று வயிற்றில் — அந்நாள் கர்ப்பவாசம்; கிடந்து இருந்தே — செய்யும் காலம் முதல்; செய்யல் — கைங்கரியம் பண்ணுவதில்; உற்றிருப்பன் — ஒன்றி இருக்கும் நான்; இன்று வந்து இங்கு — இன்று இங்கு வந்து; உன்னை — உன்னை; கண்டு கொண்டேன் — கண்டு கொண்டேன்; இனிப்போக — இனி உன்னை போக; விடுவதுண்டே? — விடுவேனோ?

cĕṉṟu aṅku — You went; vīḻac cĕṟṟāy! — and brought down; vāṇaṉai — Banasura; tiruccakkaram ataṉāl — by using your divine discus; āyiram tol̤um — and destroyed his thousand shoulders; tĕṉṟi — and make them scatter; ticai ticai — in all directions; ĕntāy! — o Lord of; tirumāliruñcolai — Thirumalirunjolai!; kiṭantu irunte — from the very day; aṉṟu vayiṟṟil — I was in my mother’s womb; uṟṟiruppaṉ — I’ve always been united; cĕyyal — in serving You; iṉṟu vantu iṅku — now, having come here,; kaṇṭu kŏṇṭeṉ — and I having seen; uṉṉai — You; viṭuvatuṇṭe? — how can I ever?; iṉippoka — let You go now
