Simple Translation

316. O undi, fly and sing His praise who built a bride, crossed the ocean, entered Lankā and killed his enemy Rāvana the ten-headed king, and gave his kingdom to Vibhishanā, Rāvana's good brother. O undi, fly and sing the praise of the nectar-like sweet god, Fly and sing the praise of the king of Ayodhya.

காரார் கடலை — கருமை மிக்க பெரிய கடலை; அடைத்திட்டு — மலைகளினால் அடைத்து விட்டு; இலங்கை புக்கு — இலங்கையில் நுழைந்து; ஓராதான் பொன்முடி — இராமபிரானின் வீரத்தை மதிக்காத; ஒன்பதோடு ஒன்றையும் — ராவணனின்; நேரா — பத்துத் தலைகளையும் அறுத்து; அவன் தம்பிக்கே — அவனது தம்பி விபீஷணனுக்கே; நீள் — நெடுங்காலம்; அரசு ஈந்த — ஆண்டிட ராஜ்யத்தை கொடுத்த; ஆரா அமுதனை — ஆரா அமுதனான இராமபிரானை; பாடிப் பற! — கொண்டாடிப் பாடிப் பற!; அயோத்தியர் — அயோத்தி; வேந்தனை — மன்னனின் பெருமையை; பாடிப் பற! — பாடுங்கள் பாராட்டுங்கள்!
