Simple Translation

181. The Pattan of Villiputhur composed pāsurams using the words of Yashodā as she asked the crow to bring a grazing stick to her beloved child. If devotees recite these ten Tamil pāsurams they will get good children and live happily in the world.

அக்காக்காய்! — ஏ காகமே!; நம்பிக்குக் — நம் பிரானுக்கு; கோல் கொண்டு வா — ஒரு கோலைக் கொண்டுவா; என்று மிக்காள் — என்று மேன்மையானவளான யசோதை; உரைத்த சொல் — உரைத்தவற்றை; வில்லிபுத்தூர்ப் பட்டன் — வில்லிபுத்தூர் பெரியாழ்வார்; ஒக்க உரைத்த — அவள் சொன்னதுபோல் அருளிச்செய்த; தமிழ் பத்தும் வல்லவர் — பத்துப் பாசுரங்களை ஓதுபவர்கள்; மக்களைப் பெற்று — நல்ல புத்திரர்களைப் பெற்று; இவ் வையத்தே — இப்பூமியிலே; மகிழ்வர் — மகிழ்ந்திருக்கப்பெறுவர்
