ப்ராக்ஜ்யோதிஷபுர மன்னரை அழித்தவன்

167 கிழக்கில்குடிமன்னர் கேடிலாதாரை *
அழிப்பான்நினைந்திட்டு அவ்வாழியதனால் *
விழிக்குமளவிலே வேரறுத்தானை *
குழற்குஅணியாகக் குழல்வாராய்அக்காக்காய்!
கோவிந்தன்தன் குழல்வாராய்அக்காக்காய்.

167 kizhakkil kuṭi maṉṉar * keṭu ilātārai *

Simple Translation

167. When the innocent people of the eastern region were troubled by Narakasura, He destroyed the asura with His discus (chakra) in the blink of an eye. O crow, come and help me comb his hair and make it beautiful. O crow, come and help me comb Govindan’s hair.
