84 அடைந்திட்டுஅமரர்கள் ஆழ்கடல்தன்னை *
மிடைந்திட்டு மந்தரம்மத்தாகநாட்டி *
வடம்சுற்றிவாசுகி வன்கயிறாக *
கடைந்திட்டகைகளால்சப்பாணி கார்முகில்வண்ணனே! சப்பாணி.

Simple Translation

84. The Devās surrendered at your feet, sought your grace to get back their lost glory. You joined them and helped them churn the milky ocean using the mountain Mandara as a churning stick and the snake Vāsuki as the strong rope. Clap with the hands that churned the milky ocean, You who are as beautiful as dark clouds, clap your hands.

அமரர்கள் — தூர்வாசமுனியின் சாபத்தால் இழந்த ஐஸ்வர்யத்தைப்; அடைந்திட்டு — உன்னை சரணமடைய அடைவதற்காக; ஆழ்கடல் தன்னை — நீ ஆழமான க்ஷீராப்தியை; மிடைந்திட்டு — நெருங்கி; மந்தரம் — மந்தர மலையை; மத்தாக நாட்டி — மத்தாகும்படி நிறுத்தி; வடம் சுற்றி வாசுகி — வாசுகியெனும் பாம்பை; வடம் சுற்றி — வலிய கயிறாக்கி; வன் கயிறாக — கடையும் கயிறாகச் சுற்றி; கடைந்திட்ட — அமிர்தம் வரும்வரை கடைந்த; கைகளால் சப்பாணி — கைகளால் ச ப்பாணி கொட்டிடுவாய்!; கார்முகில் — கருத்த மேகம் போன்ற; வண்ணனே! — நிறமுடையவனே!; சப்பாணி — சப்பாணி கொட்டிடுவாய்!
