குபேரன் தந்த முத்துவடம்

48 எழிலார்திருமார்வுக்கு ஏற்குமிவையென்று *
அழகியஐம்படையும் ஆரமும்கொண்டு *
வழுவில்கொடையான் வயிச்சிராவணன் *
தொழுதுஉவனாய்நின்றான்தாலேலோ தூமணிவண்ணனே! தாலேலோ.

Simple Translation

48. Kuberan, VaishRavanan (who signifies riches), the faultless and bounteous brought You a necklace and aimbadaithali (an ornament worn on the chest) that would fit your beautiful chest where Lakshmi resides. He offered them to You with worshipful reverence. Sleep! (Thālelo) Your body is as beautiful as a blue sapphire, thālelo.

எழில் ஆர் திருமார்வுக்கு — அழகிய திருமார்புக்கு; ஏற்கும் இவை என்று — ஏற்றவை இவை என்று; அழகிய ஐம்படையும் — அழகிய பஞ்சாயுதங்களையும்; ஆரமும் கொண்டு — சங்கிலியும்; வழு இல் கொடையான் — குற்றமற்ற தானத்தில் சிறந்த; வயிச்சிராவணன் — குபேரன் கொண்டு வந்து கொடுத்து; தொழுது உவனாய் நின்றான் — பணிவன்புடன் நின்றான்; தாலேலோ! — கண் வளராய்!; தூமணி வண்ணனே! — தூய நீலமணி போன்றவனே!; தாலேலோ! — கண் வளராய்!

vaḻu il kŏṭaiyāṉ — faultless and a great donor; vayicciravaṇaṉ — Kubera brought and gave; āramum kŏṇṭu — a necklace; eṟkum ivai ĕṉṟu — suited for; ĕḻil ār tirumārvukku — for that divine chest; aḻakiya aimpaṭaiyum — and beautiful five weapons; tŏḻutu uvaṉāy niṉṟāṉ — and stood with reverence and respect; tālelo! — close your eyes!; tūmaṇi vaṇṇaṉe! — o pure blue gem!; tālelo! — close your eyes!
