29 இருங்கைமதகளிறு ஈர்க்கின்றவனை *

Simple Translation

29. He is the one, the supreme God who slew the mighty-trunked rutting elephant Kuvalayāpeedam and the mahout, plucked its ivory tusks and forged towards Kamsa's palace. O girls with shining foreheads, come and see his waist adorned with strings of coral and beautiful pearls. See his waist, come and see.

இருங்கை — பெரிய துதிக்கையையுடைய; மதகளிறு — மத்தகஜமான குவலயாபீடத்தை; ஈர்க்கின்றவனை — தன்வசம் ஈர்க்கின்ற பாகனை; பருங்கி — கொன்று; பறித்து — யானையின் கொம்புகளை முறித்துக்; கொண்டு — கொண்டு; ஓடும் — கம்சனிருக்கும் இடத்தைத் தேடி ஓடுகின்ற; பரமன்தன் — பரமனான கண்ணனுடைய; நெருங்கு — அடர்த்தியாகக் கோர்த்த; பவளமும் — பவழ வடமும்; நேர்நாணும் — நேர்த்தியான அரைஞாணும்; முத்தும் — முத்து வடமும்; மருங்கும் இருந்தவா — இலங்கும் அழகைக்; காணீரே — காண வாரீர்; வாணுதலீர்! — ஒளிமிக்க நெற்றியையுடைய பெண்களே!; வந்து காணீரே! — வந்து பாரீர்!
