26. This god child (Kannan) ate the fragrant ghee from all the pots that Yashodā had filled with great labor. The irate mother, dragged him (fearing that too much ghee is not good for Him), beat him with an old rope. He crawled away from her with fear. See how he crawled on his knees. O girls with bud-like breasts, come and see this child's knees.
