வெள்ளித் தளை இலங்கும் கணைக்கால்

25 பணைத்தோளிளவாய்ச்சி பால்பாய்ந்தகொங்கை *
அணைத்தாரஉண்டு கிடந்தஇப்பிள்ளை *
இணைக்காலில் வெள்ளித்தளை நின்றிலங்கும் *
கணைக்கால் இருந்தவாகாணீரே காரிகையீர்! வந்துகாணீரே.

Simple Translation

25. This infant (Kannan) in the embrace of the broad shouldered (shoulders like bamboo), young mother Yashodā, is suckling from her milking breasts and rests peacefully. See the beauty of his legs that are decorated with shining silver anklets. Oh! beautiful girls, come and see his ankles.
