அசுரரை அழித்த திருத்தோள்கள்

Simple Translation

33. When He was only four or five months old, He (Kannan) kicked and took the precious life of Sakatāsuran, who came in the form of a cart. He killed Putanā who had teeth sharp as swords. O girls with curly hair, come and see his shoulders. Come and see.

நாள்கள் ஓர் நாலைந்து — நாட்கள் ஒரு நாலைந்து; திங்கள் அளவிலே — மாதங்கள் என்ற அளவில்; தாளை நிமிர்த்து — காலைத்தூக்கி; சகடத்தைச் சாடிப் போய் — சகடாசூரனை உதைத்துவிட்டு; வாள் கொள் — ஒளியுடையதான; வளை — வளைந்த; எயிற்று — கோரப்பற்களையுடைய பூதனையின்; ஆருயிர் வவ்வினான் — அரிய உயிரை முடித்த கண்ணன்; தோள்கள் இருந்தவா — தோள்களின் அழகை; காணீரே — பாருங்கள்; சுரிகுழலீர்! — சுருண்ட கேசத்தையுடைய பெண்களே!; வந்து காணீரே! — வந்து காணீரே!
