2435. All that a person has learned is a waste if he does not worship Nedumāl the only god, the most ancient of the all the three gods.

dhĕvarāy niṛkum aththĕvum — among (ādhithya, indhra et al) dhĕvathās (celestial entities) standing as vishṇu and as upĕndhra; aththĕvaril — among those dhĕvas; mūvar āy niṛkum — standing as one among the three mūrthi (forms); mudhu puṇarppum — the first incarnation; yāvar āy niṛkinṛadhu ellām — standing as all chith (sentient) and achith (insentient) entities such as dhĕvas et al; nedumāl enṛu ŏrādhār — those who do not analyse and know that he is nārāyaṇa alone; kaṛkinṛadhu ellām kadai — all the education that they have had is very lowly.
