Simple Translation

2420. She says, “I call the god of Thiruvenkatam hills where the large waterfalls descends like rain, bringing bright jewels, and elephants are frightened when they hear the sound of the water and snakes are scared and hide when they see the brightness of the jewels. I wish to see him and make a divine ThirukKoodal to get his love. ”

Avathārikai

In this verse and those that follow, the Āzhvār momentarily steps back from parōpadēśam (the act of graciously instructing others) to immerse himself in svānubhavam (his own personal, blissful experience). His focus turns entirely to the sacred hill of Thiruvēṅgaḍamalai, the glorious divya dēśam, and the Emperumān who has chosen to reside there.
