வாமனன் வரின் கூடலே கூடு

542 கொண்டகோலக் குறளுருவாய்ச்சென்று *
பண்டுமாவலிதன் பெருவேள்வியில் *
அண்டமும்நிலனும்அடியொன்றினால் *
கொண்டவன்வரில் கூடிடுகூடலே.

Simple Translation

542. In ancient times he went to the sacrifice of king Mahābali as a dwarf, wearing the sacred thread and measured the earth with one foot and the sky with the other. O kūdal, if He comes here to us, you should come together. Come and join the place where you started. Kūdidu kūdale.

Detailed WBW explanation

O divine circle! He, in His infinite compassion, journeyed to the place where Mahābali was conducting sacred rituals, adorned resplendently as Vāmana. With majestic strides, He measured the nether and celestial realms, each with a single step, manifesting as Trivikrama. Should such a glorious Trivikrama grace me with His presence, coalesce into a complete circle and facilitate this divine occurrence.
