Simple Translation

522. O Govinda, you enter our yard with a smile and destroy not only our little sand houses, but our hearts as well. You measured the earth, grew tall and measured the sky. What will those standing near us say if you come and embrace us? Do not come and destroy our little sand houses.

O Govinda! O Thou, who with a single stride spanned the vast Earth, and with another reached the heavens to measure all celestial realms! Wilt Thou grace our humble courtyard, reveal Thy divine countenance adorned with a celestial smile, and thus shatter our hearts and our modest dwellings? Furthermore, should Thou draw nearer and bestow upon us Thy divine embrace, what shall the denizens of this realm then speak?
